VIRGIN MEDIA // YOUR NEVER ENDING SEASON OF SPORT
For Londoners, it’s always sports season.
I’ve never been a fan of watching sports. Which didn’t bode too well for me living in London, right next to the Chelsea football stadium. Saturdays in London are spent at the pub watching football, Sundays at the cricket, and tube journeys roaring team chants. Londoners are sports fanatics and Virgin Media wanted to tell them all about their unlimited options of sports entertainment. So, we created a visually striking OOH campaign that mixes dynamic photography with typography to highlight everyone’s favorite sports.
We worked with athletes to reflect their energy in our stills, creating a sense of tension as they interact with the bold typography. And we married black-and-white photography with Virgin Media’s signature red for bold and eye-catching visuals. We placed the campaign all over London, intercepting people with their favorite sports on their way to work, to the pub, and everywhere else.
So here I was: a non-sports fan exciting sports fans about sports.
Okay, I’ll admit it - I got a little excited too.
